I’ve spoken a lot about printing photos on my YouTube Channel and why it is so important as a photographer. A photo feels completely finished when you see it in physical form rather than on a display or on social media.

It’s something I’ve been wanting to do more of, so I decided to take the plunge and do finally do it. I recently went on a short trip to North Wales, my favourite place, and came back with some photos I knew I wanted to do something with.

I took one photo I shot from Llandywn Island in Anglesey and turned it into a small print, mounted and framed it by hand myself, signed it and framed it. It was nice to give myself a slightly different creative project for a change. I made 10 altogether and you can grab one now from my store here!

They are all signed and numbered out of 10. Once they are gone, they’re gone. I won’t be printing this photo in any shape or form again.

The photo is very minimalist, I love photos like this. It’s of a small rock formation just off the island and in the corner of the rock is a small bird flying over which perfectly matches the shape of the rock formation. I love things like this in photos. It’s the small things that make a difference to a shot!
